Progress on the New Game

I have made a lot of progress on my game, Bare Arms.  I created the title page,
the instructions page, level one, and level two using flash.  I am still trying to make a scrolling screen for level two.  Level two is going take a lot longer because there is a lot more to it.  I have been learning a lot about the second amendment and about all of the different rules and regulations on guns.  This game is making me work hard because I want it to be good and I want people to want to play it.

Adding Interaction

Adding interaction, in a way, lets you have some control over the game.  This gives you a very good idea of how the finished product will work and what your game is going to look like.  In my game I did this and it made the game funner and you were able to chase and catch the butterflies.

Adding Sound

Adding sound was by far the hardest thing I have done.  I do not know why I have struggled so much with it.  I still have not complete got the sound buttons to work right.  Making the music for the game was fun though.

Adding Animation

This makes your game seem more realistic.  Adding animation makes your characters move around the screne.  In my game it made the guy walk through the level and show you how to get to the end of the level.  This was fun.

Adding Navigation

When adding navigation, it gives you an idea of how the game is going to work.  It helps you visualize how everything is going to move.  It gives you some interaction with the game and makes it seem more like a finished product but it is not close.

Drawing in Flash

I learned a lot from drawing in flash.  It was a lot of fun.  It is time consuming but it helps you  get some idea of what your game is going to look like.  It is not a finished product or anything but if you decide you do not like what you see you can change it around to your liking without to much work.
